This webinar is hosted by the Acute Pain SIG.

Join us for an insightful and evidence-based webinar where we delve into the complex world of post-C-section pain and the challenges
of endometriosis-related pain.

Cesarean sections (C-sections) have a long history, with documented cases dating back to ancient Rome. Despite advances in
surgical techniques and post-operative care, managing pain following a C-section remains a significant clinical challenge.
Endometriosis, affecting an estimated 10% of women globally, introduces another layer of complexity due to its association with
chronic pelvic pain and neuropathic pain mechanisms. Under recognition and treatment of pain experienced by women is also present.

This webinar will provide a comprehensive, research-driven overview of:

  • The pathophysiology of post-C-section and endometriosis-related pain
  • Pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management strategies
  • The role of multidisciplinary care in improving patient outcomes
  • Emerging research and innovations in pain treatment
  • This session is tailored for professionals working in pain management, including anesthesiologists, gynecologists, nurses and physiotherapists.
  • Gain practical insights from leading experts and engage in a high-level discussion on optimizing pain relief strategies for these challenging clinical cases.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your expertise and connect with fellow professionals in the field.
