It addressed the development of neuropathic pain as a potential neurological complication of a SARS-CoV-2 infection, as well as described the effect of the pandemic on psychosocial functioning of patients suffering from chronic pain. It addressed novel basic and translational mechanisms contributing to neuropathic pain, with a particular focus on proteomics and sex-specific molecular phenotyping in models of neuropathic pain.
